New Zealand Ocean Race 2023

Hello Friends,

With the global situation that we find ourselves in, it has resulted in the The Ocean Race postponing the start of the next edition of the race to October 2022. As an official entry to the race, NZOR are only weeks away from launching our boat and starting our training schedule around NZ during the next 18 months.

Ian Taylor’s The Land of Voyagers is teaming up with NZOC to help deliver an in school interactive programme, educating primary school children about the untold story of science, innovation and technology that was behind the migration of Polynesian Voyagers to New Zealand. NZOR will be ambassadors of the programme sharing the message of the importance of caring for our planet to the world.
